The act for transformation cooperative is active in the field of global, intercultural learning and peace education. We are recognized as a public youth welfare organization, as well as a final sending and receiving organization for voluntary services and Erasmus+. We carry out joint peace projects and youth encounters with our partners in Eastern Europe and Central Africa.

The cooperative was founded in 2007 and is recognized as a non-profit organization. We have a democratic and transparent structure and each member is entitled to one vote. Our members, employees and trainers are involved in decision-making processes and working groups. We have a Supervisory Board that currently consists of the following people:

We are an international cooperative with members from various countries: Georgia, Ukraine, Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda. Together with our Georgian members, we founded the non-profit organization "act for transformation - caucasus office" in 2017, which is registered under Georgian law as a non-profit organization in Tbilisi. We are committed to the transparency initiative and are a member of the German-European Cooperative and Auditing Association in Dessau.
