With us at the Um-Welthaus Aalen in Ostwuerttemberg you can do an interesting voluntary service in an international volunteer team with young people from our partner countries Georgia, Armenia, Sudan and South Sudan. You can make experiences with different civil society partners in our region, who are committed to a democratic and diverse society, peace engagement and ecological subject in the line of SDG (Sustainable Development Goals).
Inclusion: We would like to encourage young people with and without disabilities to do voluntary service. Our offices in the Um-Welthaus is barrier-free and we support our partners in the project countries in designing them accordingly. We are also diverse and cosmopolitan.
Sustainable travel: It is possible to travel to the South Caucasus by train and we want to enable a sustainable journey.

Weltwaerts Incoming volunteer service is in the line with the Federal Volunteer Service. We offer the opportunity to work with us at the Um-Welthaus Aalen. We are involved in global learning, peace education and in refugee work.
In our international team with our incoming volunteers from the partner countries, the volunteers work with various local project partners and develop their own projects and activities. Here you can find some selected project partners:
The volunteers are living together in a volunteer-flat and share cooking, cleaning and daily live. We make excursions together in South Germany and learn about German history and society. You have to start learning German before you come and deepen it, when you are here.

We offer the opportunity to do an internship with us, e.g. before or during your studies or as part of a European exchange program, Cross Culture Programme or within other programs.
At Cross Culture Programme you can name us as a partner organization and clarify your goals and activities with us. The aim of the CrossCulture program is to strengthen civil society networks between Germany and the world in the long term and to gain experience with partners in Germany. For a scholarship, the application must be made directly to the program.
